Blue eyes have different depths of blue to them and this will effect how to play them up. First define the level of your natural color.
- Light Blue- this color can easily be overshadowed by a dark color. If you love a darker color it is better to use it in your crease only or as a liner. Stick to medium softer colors for the rest of the eye.
- Medium Blue- looks best with light to medium colors again, sticking with a darker color in the crease or as a liner. Some great colors are deep violet, deep peach, bronze or light copper. Go with a pink or a white as a hi lighting color. Grays, silvers and blues also look good for these eye.
- Dark Blue- this is an intense color like a sapphire blue. You may use just about any color you’d like including darker colors. Deep grays, or for a more summery look, copper or bronzes work well. Silver looks amazing too.
- Gray-Blue- this color tends to change depending on what you wear. It’s better to stick with lighter colors so as not to overpower these eyes.
